Chaise Longue
cod. art. 900
In 1947 Marco Zanuso designed this armchair for a competition organized by the MoMA in New York: the concept was to abandon the traditional handcrafted structure and create an economical and removable product, with a construction system designed to industrial mass production.
This is how Maggiolina was born, with its tubular steel structure and the "pockets" of the canvas panel that make it "a Cinderella, ready to transform into an elegant princess", in this modern version with the leather panel and the elegant padded seat and back cushions.
Materials:
Armchair and pouf with structure in polished 18/8 stainless steel, or nickel-satin finish in natural or black colour, or painted black.
Body in pigmented leather 90. In the version with cushions covered in fabric the armrests are in leather matching the color of the body in pigmented leather. In the version with cushions covered in leather or Ecofire the armrests are in the same covering.
Backrest cushion padding in goose down. Seat cushion padding in polyurethane/Dacron Du Pont. Removable external covering in fabric, Ecofire or leather.
