Specifically designed to delineate paths, walkways, and access routes, this version focuses the light beam 180° downward and towards the front of the structure, preventing rear light dispersion and ensuring perfect control of light pollution. The external concrete body, available in Ivory, Dark Grey, and Terracotta body colors, encloses naval-grade engineering components: an internal radiator made of 5083 marine-grade aluminum, matte black AISI 316 stainless steel hardware, and a powerful single-chip CREE COB LED with very high color rendering (CRI ≥90). Complete with a stake for anchoring to the ground, Cliff 180° combines solid aesthetics with excellent lighting performance.

  • CREE COB LED Technology: Unlike the 360° version, the 180° models use a single concentrated emission power chip (COB - Chip on Board) from the prestigious CREE brand. This allows for an intense, clean directional beam, optimized by the asymmetric optics to project light exactly where it's needed.
  • 5083 Marine Aluminum Alloy: The internal radiator dissipates the heat generated by the CREE module and is made of 5083 marine aluminum. This specific alloy prevents corrosion caused by salt spray and salt spray typical of coastal areas.
  • AISI 316 Stainless Steel Details: All screws and metal details bonded to the concrete are forged from AISI 316 austenitic stainless steel (enriched with molybdenum) and finished with a protective matte black paint.

The difference lies in light management. Cliff 360° distributes light evenly and radially in every direction, making it perfect for the center of a flowerbed or in open spaces. Cliff 180° shields the light from the rear and focuses it on the front: it's the ideal choice for positioning along a walkway, along an entrance path, or against a perimeter wall, directing the light beam solely onto the walkable surface and avoiding unsightly dispersion or glare towards the observer.

How can I control the on/off switching of these bollards? The standard codes listed in the table operate at 220-240V with On/Off control: this means they already include the internal power driver and can be managed via a traditional wall switch, a time timer, or a system twilight sensor. Upon special request from the designer, it is possible to order the low-voltage 24V DC version with remote control, which allows for dimming and wireless integration with Triac, Casambi, DALI, or Tuya Smart home automation systems.

Is the concrete at risk of cracking in winter due to subzero temperatures?
No. The concrete used by Redo Group for the Cliff collection is a high-performance architectural compound mixed into a paste and treated to eliminate internal porosity. This prevents the capillary absorption of rainwater, eliminating the risk of winter frost causing cracks, micro-cracks, or surface detachment of the material.
