In marine environments it is necessary to wash the item weekly with plenty of fresh water.
Do not use solvents or alkaline detergents which could damage the ropes. Avoid chemical detergents, aggressive solvents, stiff brushes and high-pressure water, so as not to deteriorate the surface of the cord itself. N.B. : NEVER SCRATCH/SCRAPE THE SURFACE OF THE CORDS
Remove dirt on the surface by washing with water; use non-aggressive cleaning products with the aid of sponges and/or soft rags. Rinse thoroughly until all residues of detergent or soap have been removed. If the dirt persists, repeat the operation. Dry with a dry cloth. Do not dry with hot air.
