The Lyze aluminum chair by Emu is a combination of elegance and resistance, perfect for enriching outdoor spaces with style and functionality. Characterized by a modern and linear design, this chair adapts harmoniously to a variety of environments, both domestic and commercial. It was born from Florent Coirier's idea of combining the high quality aluminum of the seat with the backrest made of steel rods, a combination that offers exceptional sturdiness and durability over time.
Its lightweight design makes it easy to move and position as needed, while the sophisticated finish adds a touch of elegance. The Lyze chair is available in a range of colors and finishes, allowing you to personalize outdoor spaces with a distinctive and contemporary style.

Steel
Iron and carbon alloy with a carbon percentage of less than 2% treated to resist atmospheric agents with the exclusive EMU-Coat anti-corrosion process.
USE AND MAINTENANCETo keep the product in good condition for a long time, we recommend storing it during the winter in closed, dry places to avoid the formation of condensation. Before the winter season and on a quarterly basis, if the products are stored near the sea, it is recommended to clean the metal surfaces with a soft cloth using water or detergents and protect them with Vaseline oil or car wax.
Aluminium
Aluminum alloys, particularly suitable for cold working and die casting, appropriately treated to resist atmospheric agents and powder coated.
USE AND MAINTENANCE
To keep the product in good condition for a long time, we recommend correct periodic cleaning , particularly frequent in locations characterized by high humidity and a marine climate. It is recommended to clean the surfaces with a soft cloth using water or neutral detergents. Prolonged and uninterrupted exposure to intense UV radiation or very cold temperatures can affect the initial characteristics of the colored aesthetic covering made of polyester. We recommend cleaning and storing the products in sheltered places during periods of prolonged disuse and in winter.

Acrylic fabric: acrylic fabric means a fiber whose basic element is a polymer chain composed of 85% acrylonitrile. The acrylic fiber combines the aesthetic qualities of a luxurious fabric, with a body and touch similar to those of wool, with the functional qualities of resistance to atmospheric agents: it resists UV rays, does not stain and does not rot in water thanks to the speed of drying.
USE AND MAINTENANCE
Avoid prolonged contact with greasy and/or coloring substances which could be absorbed by the covering material and give rise to permanent stains, as well as deteriorating the yarn structure. If used near the sea or swimming pools, periodic washing is recommended. Frequent washing: follow the specific instructions for each material shown on the appropriate label. Use water and non-abrasive liquid detergents with neutral PH and colorless. If necessary, leave the detergent to act for a few minutes. Rinse thoroughly with water at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. If using pressure devices, keep the tip of the diffuser at a distance of at least 60/70 cm from the surface of the product. If necessary repeat the operation. Do not use abrasive sponges to remove stains and do not treat with bleach or chlorine.
Designer: Florent Coirier
Born in Nantes in 1983, lives and works in Paris. After graduating in design from ENSAAMA Olivier de Serres spent three years in England to specialize and obtained a Bachelor of Design and a Masters from the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design / BIAD-BCU, where he graduated with honors in 2005. He returned in France where he collaborated with numerous large design agencies, within which he learned pure lines. He currently works as a freelance designer in his studio near Montmartre. Florent Coirier designs simple products with a strong semantic but always practical and functional. From lighting to furniture, to small objects, the studio develops products based on a deep knowledge of industrial processes. Each project is developed in close collaboration with the manufacturers. Florent Coirier aims to create timeless designs, most of which seem simple at first glance, but with specific details that make them unique and well thought-out objects. “We believe in objects that have meaning and that give meaning to everyday life.” Formal research through materials and technologies is fundamental to the project design process. The goal is to design products that are increasingly respectful of our environment and our future way of life. Today it collaborates with international companies such as Ligne Roset (FR), Habitat (FR), Modular Lighting System (BE), among others.
