Iconic indoor plant stand
The Albero by Zanotta is an iconic plant stand designed by Achille Castiglioni in 1983. A sculptural, lightweight and dynamic object, conceived to display indoor plants in a functional yet aesthetically refined way.
Its structure, crafted from durable painted steel, is available in talco, amaranto, green lawn, or black. The circular plant trays, made of black polyamide, hold each pot like caring hands arranged in a rhythmic vertical sequence.
Each tray rotates 120°, allowing you to customise the display and optimise plant exposure to natural light. This creates a small domestic “vertical forest” that enriches the home environment with a lively and natural presence.
Inspired by Castiglioni’s philosophy — “a good project is not born from the ambition to leave a mark, but from the will to create an exchange with the unknown person who will use the object” — Albero becomes a character in its own right within the space: a light tripod, almost an organism inhabiting the room.
