Outdoor extending table, two sizes
The Lake extendable table by Talenti stands out for its soft and fluid shapes, inspired by the natural curves of bamboo, which make it a refined and contemporary element for the outdoor environment. The discreet and functional slide extension mechanism allows you to easily adapt the table surface to different moments of the day, from an informal lunch to a convivial dinner with several guests. Perfect for those looking for elegance and versatility, the Lake table combines aesthetics and practicality in a single piece of furniture.
Design: Marco Acerbis was born in 1973 and completed his studies in architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan in 1998. From 1997 to 2004 he lived and worked in London where he collaborated with the Foster & Partners studio. In these years he was involved in the construction of an eight-story building for scientific research at Imperial College and became Project Manager of Capital City Academy, a 250-meter-long high school for 1,400 students, inaugurated by Tony Blair. In 2004, after returning to Italy, he opened his own architecture and design studio. Fascinated by design without limits of scale, he quickly proceeds to explore countless themes with a constant intertwining of skills, intuitions and technologies, with the aim of creating a global project space. The Vertigo lamp quickly becomes both a best seller and a timeless icon and is included in the permanent collection of the Vitra Design Museum. The Prius handle wins the Honorable Mention at the XXI Compasso d'Oro. The Kloe Dining Chair wins the Red Dot Design Award 2009 and the Wave faucet wins the Red Dot Design Award 2015. His interest in contemporary living issues also leads him to actively engage in the world of eco-sustainable architecture with the construction of POLINS, Strategic Innovation Center, a building certified CasaClima Class A+.
