The Karen dining armchair was born from the meeting between different cultures and the love for the African lands, and is the essential element for an outdoor environment rich in style and personality. Comfortable like a welcoming refuge and elegant like an African jewel, the Karen armchair is unmistakable thanks to the craftsmanship of the backrest motif, whose numerous fabric threads intertwine with the ring armrests. The natural teak structure combines with the curved lines of the armrests and backrests in tubular aluminum covered with a weave of synthetic ropes. The soft seat and back cushions, entirely removable, resistant to atmospheric agents and with quick dry foam padding, are available in the colours: Grey, Gray Pine and Taupe.

Accoya is a new variety of wood with exceptional durability, this high-performance wood is produced with sustainable raw materials and managed optimally, it is non-toxic and also has dimensional stability and durability that surpass that of the best tropical hardwoods. Since it is a natural material, color variations or even cracks may be observed due to the degree of humidity and sudden changes in temperature. If it does not receive any maintenance treatment, through the periodic application of common and specific oil-based protectants, the surface could take on a silver gray patina which can be eliminated with light surface sanding and subsequent polishing with a jute cloth. Small surface stains due to oil or other food products must be removed promptly, before the wood can absorb them deeply, by sanding the affected surface and subsequently polishing it with a jute cloth.

Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba, born in '61 and '63 respectively, founded their own studio in Milan in 1994 after both graduating in Architecture in Rome. Their partnership, which leads to the creation of numerous projects ranging from product design to yachting design, is characterized by a common vision that never separates the dimension of architecture from that of design. Their gaze on the project is constantly aimed at experimentation and finds a synthesis in the balance between form and function, between aesthetics and well-being. There are many collaborations started with some of the major design companies in the world, such as: Cappellini, Boffi, Driade, Flaminia, Foscarini, Ideal Standard, Poltrona Frau, Kartell, Zanotta, Zucchetti.Kos. With the latter in 2011 they received the ADI Compasso d'Oro for Lab 03 free standing washbasin which for the first time integrates the towel holder.
