The Thor garden chair, robust and with a vaguely retro design, is perfect for use in residential but also contract environments (bars, restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlors etc.).
Its classic lines are made more modern and lively by the color palette and the unusual form of assembly of the components
Made of steel painted in 16 vibrant colours, Thor impresses with its forged metal workmanship. Thanks to the rigid Emu production processes, it is resistant to rust.
The chair can be combined with an elegant teak wood seat or heat-sealed cushions made of 100% polyurethane padding and a 100% polyester fabric covering. They are water-repellent (ISO5 on the SPRAY TEST scale), and have excellent color resistance to light (7 on the blue scale). Furthermore, on the rear part they have a non-slip material composed of polyurethane resin and acrylic resin which gives greater stability of the cushion on the seat.

Designer: CHIARAMONTE / MARIN
It is the passion for objects understood in their sense of industrial product, the glue of the professional partnership between Alfredo Chiaramonte and Marco Marin, founding partners in 1989 of the homonymous Designstudio. The professional interest ranges across numerous sectors (interior, graphic, industrial, lighting) and makes possible the permeation of experiences and knowledge accumulated over these years, creating a contamination between different fields, a fundamental humus to make the soil of ideas fertile.
Here, for example, is how the multi-year collaboration with glass companies on the island of Murano has made it possible to short-circuit two apparently different sectors, creating a line of blown glass objects and glasses produced by Nason Moretti for Emu Group, leading companies respectively in the production of Murano glassware and garden furniture.
Steel maintenance:
To keep the product in good condition for a long time, we recommend storing it during the winter in closed, dry places to avoid the formation of condensation. Before the winter season and on a quarterly basis, if the products are stored near the sea, it is recommended to clean the metal surfaces with a soft cloth using water or detergents and protect them with Vaseline oil or car wax.
