Stackable garden chair in aluminum, teak and textilene
The Tenerife garden chair with armrests by Moia represents the ultimate evolution of comfort and design applied to outdoor furniture. Designed to complement exclusive outdoor spaces, elegant patios, and spacious dining areas, this dining chair combines the rigorous geometric cleanliness of contemporary design with a sophisticated combination of high-quality materials. The supporting frame, entirely forged from solid extruded aluminum, houses an enveloping shell in technical textilene featuring innovative integrated padding that guarantees an extraordinarily soft and welcoming seat without the need for additional cushions. Enhanced by the armrest tops covered in fine natural teak wood, the Tenerife chair offers an elite relaxation experience combined with perfect space-saving stackability.
The Tenerife chair is available in two refined color variations, factory-designed to coordinate perfectly with the extendable tables from the Moia line:
The aluminum selected by Moia is completely free of ferrous components and is 100% immune to rust and oxidation. The frame remains unaltered by rain, nighttime humidity, salt spray, and chlorine.
Use and Maintenance: Clean the metal frame with a soft cloth dampened with fresh water and neutral liquid soap. Avoid steel wool or ultra-acidic industrial degreasers, which could scratch the matte finish.
This technology combines an outer shell of high-tenacity textilene (UV-resistant PVC-coated polyester) with an inner layer of high-density, open-cell technical foam.
Use and Maintenance: Textilene does not retain water, and the internal padding is engineered to quickly wick away moisture, drying quickly. For routine cleaning, wipe with a soft sponge and neutral soap and then rinse with running water. During the winter, we recommend washing the seats, letting them dry completely in the sun, and storing them stacked in a covered area or protected by a breathable cover.
Teak is a noble and highly prized tropical wood, rich in natural oils that make it water-repellent, stable, and completely resistant to rot.
Use and Maintenance: When exposed to sunlight, teak will develop a natural and elegant silvery-gray patina over time. If you want to maintain its original honey-colored hue, apply a thin layer of teak-specific protective oil once a year. Remove any grease or food stains promptly with water and neutral soap.
What happens if the internal padding gets wet during a heavy rainstorm? Will the chair be damaged?
No, the chair will not suffer any damage. The internal padding is made of draining technical foam and is enclosed in a micro-perforated textilene weave. This system allows rainwater to pass through the chair and drain quickly, preventing internal liquid stagnation, preventing the formation of mold or unpleasant odors, and ensuring rapid drying times as soon as the sun returns.
Will the teak armrests be damaged if I wash the chair with running water?
Absolutely not. Teak wood is renowned in the nautical industry for its complete waterproofness and resistance to both fresh and salt water. You can wash the Tenerife chair entirely without any worries; just be careful not to use harsh chemical detergents or bleach on the wood; use only neutral soap.
Is the chair delivered fully assembled?
Yes, the Tenerife chair is delivered fully assembled and structured as a single piece directly from the factory. This ensures maximum geometric solidity and far superior resistance to mechanical stress compared to self-assembly chairs, making the chairs ready for immediate use and stacking.
