The Marcuso table represents the best of creativity and design ability applied to industrial design and solving the needs of large-scale production.
Aurelio Zanotta wanted a system to join the steel legs to the glass top and placed his hopes in Marco Zanuso who, with his usual practical but inventive spirit, devised the perfect solution: a threaded disc, joined to the glass top with polymerized glue, onto which the steel legs were screwed. This solution not only created a new way of combining the two materials but also solved the problems of packaging and distribution.
In its perfect balance of geometric shapes, with the squared top and round section legs, Marcuso is still today one of the most recognizable and important pieces of Made in Italy design.

Designed by Marco Zanuso - 1969
