The Carousel living room is composed of two armchairs, a 2-seater sofa and a Square coffee table.

The Carousel collection is made up of four versions of dining armchair, three versions of lounge armchair, sofa, pouf, square and rectangular coffee table. In the seats, the trestle structure is made of aluminum tubing. The seat, made up of an aluminum alloy sheet which is drawn to give a clean shape, is subsequently fixed to the aluminum structure through structural welding, carried out with TIG technology which gives particular resistance as well as a better aesthetic standard .
The backrest structure is made of steel and is the support on which the decorative weaves are made in the various materials offered. All selected materials guarantee resistance and color stability.
These materials guarantee water repellency, which is why the product is particularly suitable for all uses in marine environments and in extreme climatic conditions. The poufs have an oval tubular aluminum structure while the tables have a steel rod structure with aluminum alloy top and adjustable nylon insoles and stainless steel screw. All decorated with rope weaving.

Designer: Sebastian Herkner
Sebastian Herkner (born 1981) studied Product Design at HfG Offenbach University of Art and Design. During his studies he began to dedicate himself to the design of objects and furniture, honing his keen sense towards materials, colors and textures. For a short time he worked for Stella McCartney in London. In 2006 Sebastian Herkner founded his studio and since then has designed furniture, lamps and small objects for brands such as Ames, and Tradition, Cappellini, ClassiCon, Dedon, Emu, Gubi, Linteloo, Moroso, Pulpo, Rosenthal, Schramm Werkstätten, Thonet, Wittmann and Zanotta. Herkner also deals with interior architecture, museum and exhibition projects. His works have received numerous awards, including the IF Award, the Iconic Award and the Elle Deco International Design Award (EDIDA). As Guest of Honor at Imm Cologne 2016, Sebastian Herkner was responsible for the design for “Das Haus”. In 2019 Maison&Objet elected him "Designer of the Year" and in 2020 he won the most prestigious design award in Milan: the EDIDA award as best designer of the year. His is an unconditional love for traditional craftsmanship, combined with an acute sensitivity towards new technologies and an innate talent in conceiving authentic colours, materials and textures. What characterizes him is a genuine curiosity towards different cultures, the desire to embrace and integrate them, a constant commitment and responsibility towards the things and people he works with, not to mention the consideration and respect towards every single process necessary for the purpose to create a unique object. Since the success of the Bell Table for ClassiCon in 2012, Sebastian Herkner has never looked back, while remaining true to his words and himself. Balance and intuition are important factors that ensure continuity in his work. A work that he sees as a continuous dialogue between different disciplines and that takes him to the most remote corners of the world, in search of almost forgotten artisan techniques, crafts with a centuries-old tradition, "Sleeping Beauty" manufacturing that the designer wants to awaken from their numbness. In designing Sebastian not only designs chairs, sofas, lamps, tables, vases and carpets, but an entire cosmos through which the designer expresses the influence that his objects have on the senses, the importance of beauty cultivated already within the process itself and its empathy towards people.

USE AND MAINTENANCE
To maintain a If the product is in good condition, we recommend correct periodic cleaning, particularly frequent in locations characterized by high humidity and a marine climate. It is recommended to clean the surfaces with a soft cloth using water or neutral detergents. Prolonged and uninterrupted exposure to intense UV radiation or very cold temperatures can affect the initial characteristics of the colored aesthetic covering made of polyester. We recommend cleaning and storing the products in sheltered places during periods of prolonged disuse and in winter.

Synthetic rope
Double braid constructed with a polyester or nylon core and multifilament propylene cover. The external fiber of which it is made is waterproof and resistant to UV rays.
USE AND MAINTENANCE
It is recommended to clean with a neutral product and a non-abrasive cloth.

Acrylic fabric: acrylic fabric means a fiber whose basic element is a polymer chain composed of 85% acrylonitrile. The acrylic fiber combines the aesthetic qualities of a luxurious fabric, with a body and touch similar to those of wool, with the functional qualities of resistance to atmospheric agents: it resists UV rays, does not stain and does not rot in water thanks to the speed of drying.
Polyester fabric: it is a fiber made up of linear macromolecules made up mainly of polyethylene terephthalate. It has high mechanical characteristics: it resists breakage, light, abrasion, does not deform permanently, has excellent elastic recovery and is water-repellent.
USE AND MAINTENANCE
Avoid prolonged contact with greasy and/or coloring substances which could be absorbed by the covering material and give rise to permanent stains, as well as deteriorating the structure of the yarn. If used near the sea or swimming pools, periodic washing is recommended. Frequent washing: follow the specific instructions for each material shown on the appropriate label. Use water and non-abrasive liquid detergents with neutral PH and colorless. If necessary, leave the detergent to act for a few minutes. Rinse thoroughly with water at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. If using pressure devices, keep the tip of the diffuser at a distance of at least 60/70 cm from the surface of the product. If necessary repeat the operation. Do not use abrasive sponges to remove stains and do not treat with bleach or chlorine.
