Emu Divano Como

The Como sofa by Emu is part of a complete collection of seats, tables and furniture designed for outdoor relaxation areas.
The structure is made of steel tubes with a diameter of 22 mm and a thickness of 2 mm to obtain high outdoor performance. The presence of steel rods connected to the structure which form a decorative motif on the backrest increases the aesthetic appeal. These rods are welded using projection technology, ensuring a clean fusion from a technical point of view, with a refined aesthetic effect and reduced risk of rust.
The hot-dip galvanized expanded metal of the seat offers exceptional resistance in outdoor environments and is welded to the structure using the same projection technique. Following the standards of EMU's steel products, a complete pre-treatment with cataphoresis is provided, followed by a thermosetting powder paint coating. This process produces a uniformly thick layer of paint, ensuring high adhesion and resistance.
The presence of nylon insoles facilitates movement and protects the ends of the product, making it an ideal choice for furnishing outdoor spaces.
The sofa is completed with soft seat and back cushions, available in various shades and resistant to external agents.

USE AND MAINTENANCE
To maintain keep the product in good condition for a long time, we recommend storing it during the winter in closed, dry places to avoid the formation of condensation. Before the winter season and on a quarterly basis, if the products are stored near the sea, it is recommended to clean the metal surfaces with a soft cloth using water or detergents and protect them with Vaseline oil or car wax. Video “Touching up scratches and restoring metal finishes”

Basic Fabrics
Acrylic fabric: acrylic fabric means a fiber whose basic element is a polymer chain composed of 85% acrylonitrile. The acrylic fiber combines the aesthetic qualities of a luxurious fabric, with a body and touch similar to those of wool, with the functional qualities of resistance to atmospheric agents: it resists UV rays, does not stain and does not rot in water thanks to the speed of drying.

Standard Fabrics

Polyester fabric: it is a fiber made up of linear macromolecules made up mainly of polyethylene terephthalate. It has high mechanical characteristics: it resists breakage, light, abrasion, does not deform permanently, has excellent elastic recovery and is water-repellent.
Polypropylene fabric: these are generally very fine fibers with a high surface tension thanks to which water can pass through and drain quickly. Resistance and durability are among the main advantages offered by this material which also guarantees good thermal insulation.

ANGELETTI RUZZA have collaborated with numerous Italian industrial companies in the sectors of furnishing accessories and household appliances, bathroom furnishings, creating essential and functional products. Far from the coldness of minimalism, their objects seek simplicity and authenticity which is expressed in expressive, soft and pure forms.
The diversity of the production sectors and the scale of the products, from the industrial one made in large numbers to the artisanal object in small series, as well as the in-depth study of heterogeneous techniques and materials have allowed him to bring contamination and experimentation into various areas of industry.
