Acrylic fabric: acrylic fabric means a fiber whose basic element is a polymer chain composed of 85% acrylonitrile. The acrylic fiber combines the aesthetic qualities of a luxurious fabric, with a body and touch similar to those of wool, with the functional qualities of resistance to atmospheric agents: it resists UV rays, does not stain and does not rot in water thanks to the speed of drying.
USE AND MAINTENANCE:Avoid prolonged contact with greasy and/or coloring substances which could be absorbed by the covering material and give rise to permanent stains, as well as deteriorating the structure of the yarn . If used near the sea or swimming pools, periodic washing is recommended. Frequent washing: follow the specific instructions for each material shown on the appropriate label. Use water and non-abrasive liquid detergents with neutral PH and colorless. If necessary, leave the detergent to act for a few minutes. Rinse thoroughly with water at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. If using pressure devices, keep the tip of the diffuser at a distance of at least 60/70 cm from the surface of the product. If necessary repeat the operation. Do not use abrasive sponges to remove stains and do not treat with bleach or chlorine.
Steel:Alloy of iron and carbon with a carbon percentage of less than 2% treated to resist atmospheric agents with the exclusive EMU-Coat anti-corrosion process.
USE E MAINTENANCE:To keep the product in good condition for a long time, we recommend storing it during the winter in closed, dry places to avoid the formation of condensation. Before the winter season and on a quarterly basis, if the products are stored near the sea, it is recommended to clean the metal surfaces with a soft cloth using water or detergents and protect them with Vaseline oil or car wax.
Designer: Aldo Ciabatti
In 1956 he graduated from the Margaritone Institute in Arezzo. Since 1964 he has studied Marketing, designing armchairs, sofas, chairs and tables. He is a visionary, he believes in business, he is sure that challenging objectives that go beyond profit can be achieved. Its products are born from research combined with brilliant intuitions. Simplicity and diversity become a concept because they are applied to normality. The process of study and creativity brings out the strong personality that makes its products recognisable. A product must solve real needs, excite and not necessarily follow trends. Ciabatti searches for essence, form and harmony. Eliminate frills and everything that does not add value to the object. These particularities determine the recognisability and visibility of his creations. His best qualities are identified in intuition, simplicity, generosity, modesty and humility. Its products are simple, essential and long-lasting. Ikea has been selling them since 1977, Bonaldo has been producing them since the 1980s, Emu since 1994.
