The Showergate garden shower by Talenti is a visually striking furnishing accessory that pairs perfectly with the outdoor furniture from the Talenti collections. Designer: Marco Acerbis
Marco Acerbis was born in 1973 and completed his studies in architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan in 1998. From 1997 to 2004 he lived and worked in London where he collaborated with the Foster & Partners studio. During these years he was involved in the construction of an eight-story building for scientific research at Imperial College and became Project Manager of Capital City Academy, a 250-meter-long high school for 1,400 students, inaugurated by Tony Blair. In 2004, upon his return to Italy, he opened his own architecture and design studio. Fascinated by design without limits of scale, he quickly proceeded to explore countless themes with a constant interweaving of skills, intuitions and technologies, with the aim of creating a global project space. The Vertigo lamp quickly became both a best seller and a timeless icon and is included in the permanent collection of the Vitra Design Museum. The Prius handle won the Honorable Mention at the XXI Compasso d'Oro. The Kloe Dining Chair won the Red Dot Design Award 2009 and the Wave tap won the Red Dot Design Award 2015. His interest in contemporary living issues also led him to actively engage in the world of eco-sustainable architecture with the construction of POLINS, a Strategic Innovation Hub, a CasaClima Class A+ certified building.
