In 2001, he published a book entitled “I want to change the world” (translated into I want to change the world), which represents the manifesto of what is for him the new beauty and the presentation of the world, seen as a bubble.
Karim Rashid is defined as a design dandy, design popstar, father of plastic and new age visionary. His art aims to revolutionize the world and give more importance to each person, seen individually.
Today Karim Rashid represents one of the most famous designers with his works that tend towards futurism. All his works are aimed towards a better future that desires an improvement of the human race and also of society. Karim's commitment is oriented in this sense and even today he is engaged in the battle to make the world a more beautiful place, at least from an aesthetic point of view.
