Yes, it is normal for untreated teak to take on a silvery-gray patina. This process does not affect the product's performance and is reversible with light sanding.
• How do I clean any stains on the wood?
Fresh food or oil stains should be removed immediately by lightly sanding and buffing with a jute cloth.
• Can the cushions stain with use?
Yes, teak's natural oils can rise to the surface and transfer to fabrics. Stains can be removed with soap and water.
