Bookcase in wood and polished aluminum, three models
Sedai by Horm is a bookcase-sculpture in which movement and flexibility become a poetic expression of Toyo Ito's thought. Inspired by the Sendai Media Library in Japan, which he designed himself, this creation transforms architecture into furniture, giving shape to a domestic object that retains the same structural lightness and spatial tension as the famous building. Sedai is composed of six shelves in reflective aluminum, joined by turned solid wood elements, all different in inclination and section, in a harmonious balance between rigor and organicity. A piece that combines art, architecture, and design, capable of becoming the visual centerpiece of any space.
