Born from the creativity of Sergio Bicego, the Pixel sofa is characterized by a series of elements that combine freely with each other, taking advantage of an exclusive graft created by Saba Italia. It is thus possible to dismantle the armrests and backrests from the bases to create new compositions in absolute freedom. The feather seats are characterized by the particular quilted stitching, which highlights the infinite possibilities of combining the fabrics of the Saba collection to create a unique and very personal sofa every time. Thanks to the particular shape of the backrests and armrests, the overall dimensions of the sofa are always very small, both in width and depth, without penalizing its aesthetics. The Pixel sofa was carefully designed based on ergonomic criteria, to have maximum comfort on a highly refined product from a stylistic point of view. Completely removable cover.

Wooden structure padded with polyurethane foam of different densities (40IM 25IM 30IP); the upper part is covered with 100% cotton canvas which contains washed and sterilized down, divided into compartments. The seat suspension is ensured by elastic straps with a polypropylene core. The backs are in curved plywood, padded with polyurethane foam of different densities (25IM 75IP) covered with interliner coupled with polyester and with a polished chromed steel base.

Born in 1953, he left his classical studies and began, almost by chance, his experience in the upholstered furniture sector. Fascinated by the world around him, he enthusiastically dedicates himself to researching forms and construction techniques which he puts to use in the companies where he works. In 1991 he opened his studio as an independent designer and 1993 was the year he met Saba Italia. New challenges and new stimuli will lead to the birth of the “Nomade Sofa”: Taos, Ananta, Limes, Nesting, Pixel, Avant-Après. Creations that arise from reflection on the new desires that push us to live in a less formal way, equipped with systems that allow us to change with simple gestures, playing with shapes.
