Mogg storage unit La Dori

Mogg's Dori is a minimalist, circular storage column designed to be admired from all angles without the need for support. Made of curved plywood, it is available in a matt or glossy lacquered finish in a wide range of colours. The base can be coordinated in lacquered honeycomb wood like the column, or in black metal, for a style that combines essentiality and versatility. Dori is a discreet yet impressive presence, ideal for those seeking a functional and refined furnishing element.

  Bent plywood structure, available embossed lacquered or direct glossy lacquered (not brushed) in all RAL colours from sample book.
  Honeycomb-core base available matt or direct gloss (not brushed) lacquered in the same colour as the column, with adjustable feet. The base allows the column to be fitted with front or corner opening.
  Black painted metal plate (not adjustable).

He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Florence in Aerospace Design in collaboration with NASA and ALENIA SPAZIO (2000). Worked for the IACSA International Advanced Center for Space Applications (2000-2003) collaborating with Designers and Aerospace Engineers on the design of the Zero Gravity Living Interiors of the I.S.S. International Space Station (Client: ASI Agenzia Spaziale Italiana).
He opened his own Architecture and Design studio in Florence in 2003 and has collaborated as Designer and Art Director with numerous Italian companies. He was nominated for the ‘Compasso d'Oro’ (2022) for the ‘Tessuto’ decorative radiator, and for the steel tap ‘28mm’.
He has won numerous international design awards such as: ADI Design Index, German Design Award Gold, Red Dot Award, Grand Prix du Design Gold, Archiproducts Design Awards, Iconic Awards, and ADI Ceramics and Bathroom Design Award.
