Made with thick threads of pure, natural wool from Tyrolean farms, the lamp combines authenticity, sustainability, and contemporary design. Each thread, hand-woven by a community of artisans, tells a story of care and tradition. Does the Granny lamp include a light bulb?
No, the light bulb is not included. We recommend an LED or compact fluorescent bulb with an E27 base.
Is it entirely handmade?
Yes, the wool threads are produced by a Tyrolean family business and hand-woven by a Dutch artisan community.
Is the wool treated to last?
Yes, it is naturally treated to prevent moths and mites, as well as being fireproof and moisture-resistant.
