Casamania Lampada a Sospensione Granny

Granny is a childhood memory of its designer. Pure and natural wool from farms in green alpine pastures in the remote valleys of Tyrol where the harsh climate and hard soil represent the setting for traditional manufacturing production.

To produce the rough and welcoming surface of the "Granny", large woven wool threads are used, produced by a small Tyrolean family business. The threads are then hand-woven by a community of Dutch workers. A natural anti-moth and anti-mite treatment is also applied. Each lamp can be traced back to the flock from which the wool comes.
