Designed for outdoor spaces but equally suitable for interiors, this collection offers a wide range of furniture made with steel tubes and rods treated with cataphoresis and powder coated. Available in vibrant colors such as orange, burgundy, light blue and midnight blue, the collection features a combination of sinuosity and minimalism that makes it unique. Among its proposals are seats with armrests, tables with tops in teak or sheet steel and two elegant coffee tables. Each piece is characterized by its intrinsic elegance and versatility that adapts to a variety of environments.
To complete your space with the elegant colors of the collection, the South is an essential accessory that blends functionality and contemporary style. Made with polyolefin fabric, resistant to atmospheric agents, stains and mold, it offers a versatile solution for organizing indoor and outdoor spaces. After founding his own studio, Konstantin Grcic Industrial Design (KGID), in Munich in 1991, he created furniture and lighting objects for some of the leading design companies. His best-known clients include Authentics, BD Ediciones, ClassiCon, Flos, Magis, Mattiazzi, Muji, Nespresso, Plank, Serafino Zani, Thomas-Rosenthal and Vitra. For Galerie Kreo in Paris he has created a series of limited edition items since 2004.
Konstantin Grcic defines function in human terms, combining formal severity with considerable intellectual acumen and a sense of humor. Each of his products is characterized by careful research into the history of design and architecture and by his passion for technology and materials.
Famous for his simple, minimalist "pared down" products, Grcic is often defined as a minimalist but he himself prefers to talk about simplicity.
Many of his products have obtained international design recognition such as the prestigious Compasso d`Oro for the MAYDAY lamp (Flos) in 2001 and the MYTO chair (Plank) in 2011. Konstantin Grcic's works are part of the permanent collections of the most important museums in the world (among others: MoMA/New York, Center Georges Pompidou/Paris).
