FABRIC MAINTENANCE
A brush can be used for routine cleaning, provided it is soft.
Dirt and stains can be removed with neutral soap and water-based detergents, using a soft synthetic sponge.
Brush periodically. In the case of stains, simply remove them with a dry cloth or absorbent kitchen paper. If the stain penetrates, rub lightly with a damp, non-abrasive sponge and if necessary use a small amount of mild soap, then rinse with a clean sponge. The fabrics can be washed in water at 30° with a low spin cycle (do not spin Erika fabrics). For washing, we recommend using a very small
amount of neutral detergent, avoiding any other additives. Shrinkage in the range of 1-2% is normal. The fabric should not be exposed to strong sources of light, especially if filtered by glass and heat sources above 50°. Attention, before washing it is advisable to apply a counter-velcro to protect the fabric.

LEATHER MAINTENANCE
The special processing and treatment of Selene leathers make them particularly resistant to light and wear. They are pleasantly soft to the touch, characterised by the Titanic print that covers the surface evenly. The quality of the leathers is due to the careful selection of the raw hides and increased attention in all processing steps. Irregularities in the surface such as wrinkles, streaks, grain or colour differences are not defects but evidence of a natural animal life, thus embellishing each piece and making it unique and different from any other. For these reasons, it is not possible to guarantee the same colour shade from one batch to the next.
A special leather cleaning and maintenance kit is available. Dirt and stains can be removed using a soft pad soaked in water and mild soap, wiped carefully. Rub lightly because excess pressure, instead of helping to clean, causes solubilised dirt to penetrate the leather. Never use common detergents or various cleaning preparations. Do not treat the leather with oils of any kind. It is very important not to expose leather articles to direct sunlight, halogen lamps or heat sources. Do not leave newspapers in contact with the leather. Newspaper ink may be absorbed. Also avoid wearing clothes that can lose colour, such as jeans, which can be absorbed by the leather. Avoid excessive hard rubbing, both on the leather and on the stitching thread.
