Olefin is a synthetic fabric obtained from polypropylene fibers. During production the fibers are dyed in a solution, which prevents fading. Furthermore, the addition of UV inhibitors counteracts the effects of UV rays. Olefin fiber can be recycled many times to make new products. It is a particularly tough, wear-resistant fabric. Olefin resists water and mold. If it comes into contact with sunscreen, there is no problem: the olefin is very easy to clean and maintain.
