Ethimo Lampione Pharos

Pharos is an outdoor lamp inspired by nineteenth-century street lamps, in particular the Venetian ones whose characteristic is to project the light downwards.

The efficient and sustainable LED light source is reflected from the upper concave surface facing the ground.

Available in two different heights (140cm and 200cm), so as to be able to satisfy the lighting needs of public or private gardens and terraces.

The minimalism of the design, the balance of volumes and proportions and a creativity with references and contaminations from the past, meet balance and functionality in Pharos.

Designer: Luca Nichetto

Luca Nichetto was born in Venice in 1976. He studied at the city's State Art Institute before undertaking a course of study in industrial design at the Iuav University of Venice, where he graduated in 1998. In 1999 Nichetto began his professional career at the Salviati glass factory in Murano, and then became a product designer and consultant for the lighting engineering company Foscarini. In 2006 he founded his eponymous studio in Venice. In 2011 he moved to the Swedish capital Stockholm to open a second studio, while continuing to live and work from the lagoon city. Over the course of his career, Nichetto has worked as an art director for countless international design brands, an activity that allows him to acquire considerable skills in this sector.
