ALUMINIUM
To keep the product in good condition for a long time, we recommend correct periodic cleaning, particularly frequent in locations characterized by high humidity and a marine climate. It is recommended to clean the surfaces with a soft cloth using water or neutral detergents. Prolonged and uninterrupted exposure to intense UV radiation or very cold temperatures can affect the initial characteristics of the colored aesthetic covering made of polyester. We recommend cleaning and storing the products in sheltered places during periods of prolonged disuse and in winter.
WPC
For optimal maintenance in an outdoor environment we recommend cleaning the product periodically: – for dust and debris: use a vacuum cleaner to remove dirt and debris; – for dirty stains: clean with a laundry brush using neutral soap and warm water; – for oil stains: blot promptly with absorbent paper and clean the area with warm water and neutral soap. It is recommended not to use pressure washers which could damage the product. It is recommended not to use bleach or chlorine-based detergents. Do not use strongly acidic or strongly alkaline detergents. Use neutral detergents, preferably diluted in water.
BAMBOO
Since it is an untreated natural material, it is stainable and when exposed to the outside it is oxidable and therefore tends towards a gray colour. To reduce the 2 effects mentioned, we recommend applying oil at least once a year. Precisely due to the fact that it is a natural product, removing stains once they have penetrated is not feasible; treating the surface before using the materials would minimally increase the possibility of intervention for removal before absorption. While for ordinary cleaning and surface sanitization it is sufficient to use water and neutral detergents.
Design: Patrick Norguet_approaches objects and design from a graphic perspective. Since he was a child, he has always preferred sketchbooks to textbooks, filling them with sketches and drawings. The unusual profile of this constructive rebel starts from a practical approach to studies in industrial design in Paris (ESDI).
His career took a sudden turn in 2000, when Giulio Cappellini noticed his now famous Rainbow Chair. He became part of the group of designers who gave life and created his Parisian studio. Since then, he has worked for the largest manufacturers (Tacchini, Kristalia, Cassina, Alia, Tolix...) and for the most renowned brands.
For Patrick Norguet, design is above all a question of happy encounters. The thing that excites him most is the exchange with producers, the discovery of their knowledge; the impulse of a creative intent refined by technical limits, economic constraints and the expectations of users that he hopes to convince, in a discreet yet lasting way.
Allowing himself to be inspired by everything that surrounds him, Patrick Norguet does not follow trends but seeks to give shape to products whose relevance and modernity are able to stand the test of time: “A well-designed object, created through generous collaboration, is a timeless object”.
From consumer products to luxury objects, Patrick Norguet leaves a mark of authenticity and elegance on each of them. Today, he is a figure of primary importance on the international design scene.
