The silhouette of the Apero stool by Emu is light and elegant, made of steel rod. The typical design of the German wooden seat is reinterpreted in a contemporary key. Thanks to its graphic minimalism it adapts very well and discreetly to any type of environment, whether contract or residential. Stackable in 6 pieces. The collection consists of chair, armchair and stool and is available in many colours.

Designer: Martin Drechsel

He is a German and Swiss industrial designer. His extensive experience and global mentality are the result of international training and collaboration with industrial design and furniture design consultancy agencies in London, Zurich, Berlin, Dresden, Milan, Florence and Amsterdam.
The studies at the university of art, technology and business gave him a solid and diversified education that combines artistic freedom and proven technical-scientific methods.
Growing up in the former German Democratic Republic and then in reunified Germany allowed him to understand the cultural implications of diametrically opposed economic systems.
Engineer parents and the lack of materials probably stimulated practical inventiveness, frugal thinking and the continuous search for longevity, which are still so precious today for creating functional and sustainable products.

Steel maintenance:

To keep the product in good condition for a long time, we recommend storing it during the winter in closed, dry places to avoid the formation of condensation. Before the winter season and on a quarterly basis, if the products are stored near the sea, it is recommended to clean the metal surfaces with a soft cloth using water or detergents and protect them with Vaseline oil or car wax.
