Zanotta Orione Table
Roberto Barbieri has been a significant collaborator of Zanotta for years, deeply linked to this industrial reality to which he has dedicated his commitment almost exclusively . Daniele Greppi, who knew Barbieri's ability to design furnishing objects of great balance and proportion, invited him to join the company; Barbieri's first initiatives date back to the mid-nineties, and we immediately arrive at the sculptural beauty of Orion, a table made of wood, steel rods and a glass top.
This table is an intersection of subtle signs grafted together, which seems to constructively unite the courageous wisdom of Carlo Mollino and the equally innovative challenge of Angelo Mangiarotti in the mid-1980s. Orion is marked by a tangle of sticks that chase each other in a game of infinite rebounds, as in a broken line.
